Lora Belle

August 3, 2011

Dr. Lora Belle (Greer) Cacy, 92, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Lora was born September 9, 1918 in Bristow, Oklahoma. She married King Cacy Jr. on November 2, 1941 in Vinita, OK. She graduated from Kellyville High School in Kellyville, OK before going on to attend Oklahoma State University, where she earned her B.S., M.S., and Ed.D in Home Economics Education. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stillwater. Lora served 20 years with the Stillwater Medical Auxiliary and was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2009.
