Carolyn Simank, 91, who was raised in Washington, DC and in Chevy Case, MD, passed away on November 2, 2015. She and her husband, W. L. “Bill” Simank, were long-time residents of Stillwater. He predeceased her. At one time, she was employed by the College of Home Economics at Oklahoma State University. Among her interests were PEO, Girl Scouts, Mobile Meals, Yost Lake, and bridge. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Martha Simank; her son, Jim Simank; and granddaughter Marisa Simank. She is also survived a brother and two sisters and their spouses as well as several nieces and nephews.
