Loretta Fisher

Loretta Colbert was born on January 16, 1931, in Stillwater to Lillian Lakey and Harry Colbert and passed away on April 17, 2016, in Texas. She graduated from Stillwater High School and attended Oklahoma A&M. On August 18, 1950, she married Hoover Fisher, a marriage that lasted 61 years until his passing in 2011. To this union, three sons were born. Hoover and Loretta lived in Texas and Oklahoma during their early years of marriage, eventually settling in Stillwater when Hoover began teaching at OSU. Loretta was a pre-school teacher and was an administrator at OSU. She was active in several church and volunteer activities in Stillwater. She is survived by her son Roy (Nancy), son Steve (Cindy), and son Mark (Susan). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, as well as by her brother and sister-in-law.
