Christine Harris

Christine Harris, 84, passed away on September 13, 2016, in Oklahoma City. She was born on May 27, 1932 to Luther and Frances Kennedy in Indiahoma, OK. She and Woodfin Harris were married on October 27, 1950. While her husband served in the Korean War, Christine worked for the Department of Finance Office at Ft. Sill, OK. She later worked at the ROTC Department and the Arts and Sciences Research Business Office, both at Oklahoma State University. Christine retired in 1990. For a number of years, Christine was active in Stillwater Lahoma Newcomers and also served as a Girl Scout leader, both in Oklahoma City and Stillwater. Christine and Woodfin are the parents of two daughters, Kay Emde and Kemi Beausoleil and four grandchildren. Christine was predeceased by her parents, her husband, two brothers (Cecil and Hugh), and four sisters (Betty, Geneva, Fay, and Jocil).
