Charles Platt

September 11, 2016

Charles Platt, 86, passed away on September 11, 2016, in Tulsa, OK. He was born on March 8, 1930, in Stillwater, OK, to Charles and Donna Platt. Charles and Sue Wegner were married for 44 years. Charles formerly served as the President and CEO of the Oklahoma State University Foundation. During his tenure, the Foundation received its first million dollar donation from an individual. Charles is survived by his wife, Sue, and their four children, Barbara Platt, Karen Jo Hearn (Kenneth), Andrew Platt (Debra), and Lisa Sisney (Lynn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mollyann Cypert-Davidson.
