Jerry R. Waughtal, 82, passed away on July 31, 2017. He was born in Tulsa, OK, on August 16, 1934, to Harry and Sylvia Waughtal. On August 24, 1955, he married Ann Davis; and to this union two children were born: Andrew (Troy, IL), and Malinda (Stillwater). Jerry held an Administrative/Professional position in Grants and Contracts Financial Administration at Oklahoma State University, retiring in 1990. He was very active in the Boy Scouts when his son was going through the various ranks of scouting. He was also involved in gymnastics when his daughter was participating in gymnastics, and he eventually served as a full-time coach for Gymnastics of America. Other of his interests were sailing, music, collecting recordings (records, tapes, and CDs) of a number of music genres, participating in a local band, dancing, wood carving, creating artwork in various mediums, reading and collecting books, and entertaining. Jerry was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Ann; and his sister Jacqueline Teel. He is survived by his two children, a daughter-in-law, Lisa, (Edmond, OK), and many nieces and nephews.
