Subject: Activities of the Faculty Committee for the 2013-2014 Academic Year
The following activities were undertaken by the Faculty Committee of the OSU Faculty Council during the 2013-2014 Academic Year:

1. The Faculty Workload document previously critiqued in detail by the
   Committee was approved by the Board of Regents and is now in force.
   
   

2. The OSU Policy and Procedures document on Retention, Promotion, and
   Tenure policy and practice has been approved by the Board of Regents and
   comes into effect in the Fall 2014 semester.
   
   

3. The revised version of the Annual Faculty Appraisal and Development
   Program has been approved unanimously by the Faculty Council.
   
   

4. The Faculty Committee recommended to the Faculty Council that a working group be established to develop a policy and procedures document for the
   periodic review of the performance of University administrators. The
   recommendation has been unanimously supported by the Faculty Council.
   
   

5. The Faculty Connnittee was asked by the Interim Provost to review and submit recommendations on seven cases of Retention, Promotion, and Tenure action in which there were disagreements among the operative committees and
   administrators on the action to be taken.
